18th dynasty

sometimes know by historians as 

the New Kingdom.

Approx 1332/ 1323 BC 

Name meant living imagine of Amum

In hieroglyphs his name would have been written 

as Amum -Tut - Ankh 

as it was the custom to place 

a Divine name at the beginning of a phrase

to show reverence.
